A6M Zero Sakai airplane model. The Japanese A6M Zero was built by the Mitsubishi Company during World War II. It was operated by both the Army and Navy extensively. Although it came as a big surprise to allied forces, it was soon outclassed by more powerful American fighters. This model is painted to reflect the aircraft flown by Japanese pilot Sabouri Sakai who was the fourth leading ACE and second leading fighter pilot to survive the war.
